It’s clean and most of the staff are professional and kind. Mr. Skillman really helped me out while I was purchasing my vehicle. ALL Palsade Limited come equipped with trailer hitches and the sales manager didn’t know that or else he was trying to up my price $600. In the future I suggest that the staff review what’s on the window sticker. That might have saved the manager a bit of embarrassment.

I worked with Henry to get a Kona N Performance that I had been trying to find for almost 6 months. He made an appointment with me same day and was accommodating of my asking price and finance terms. The reason for the 3 star review comes with the discrepancy about the Certified Pre-Owned certification that was supposed to come with my car. About 2 weeks after purchase, I found out thru Hyundai that Ray Skillman West had not sent in the proper paperwork to certify this car as a CPO vehicle. It was sold to me and was written on the bill of sale that this car was CPO and came with a number of extra warranties and provisions. I paid extra on the price of the car over the competitors to get this reassurance and warranty. I also took a 3,000 mile road trip right after buying the car, under which I assumed I was under the CPO warranty. It took ME calling the Hyundai national office and opening up a case with them and the dealership for Ray Skillman to do anything about it. They also failed to recognize how severe the situation would have been if I’d broken down on my road trip and assumed my car would be fixed under the CPO warranty when in fact, the car was not certified with Hyundai before it was sold to me. While Henry was very responsive and took this mishap seriously, the lack of oversight from the whole team when selling a performance vehicle is frustrating. I could have bought a number of other Kona Ns around the Indy area for 3-4k less with fewer miles, but wanted to give the dealership a chance. They have not offered me any form of compensation for this mistake that THEY made, no oil change, no free service, nothing. I loved Henry as a salesman but the rest of the dealership’s operations really let me down. I’d ultimately recommend this place, but I think the back of house and paperwork team needs to complete the CPO certification process BEFORE selling the car.

Great service, maintenance done quickly, but an error was made in one of the repairs. I was told to drop by whenever to correct the installation of the engine air filter, but this dealership is only open during hours that I work, forcing me to use my PTO from work to correct an error that could've been identified by turning on the air conditioner after installation. So now, I have to wait until I have more PTO to burn to come and fix this issue.
